Venue Marketing Assistant and Social Media Content Creator
The role
The Venue Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging brand experiences across Blackman’s Brewery’s venues and digital channels. This role combines social media management, event promotion, in-venue marketing, and campaign coordination to strengthen brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support venue performance.

Key responsibilities:
- Create and schedule authentic and engaging venue-specific social media content for Torquay, Geelong, and Ocean Grove locations managing @visitblackmansbrewery Instagram and Blackman’s Facebook account.
- Design and implementation of in-venue marketing activations and promotions.
- In-venue coordination of new beer launches and associated activations.
- Event promotion across our social media channels and in venues.
- Collaboration and reporting responsibilities with the Head of Marketing on strategy and priorities.

We are looking for a creative professional with a Marketing degree who can take ownership of our social media presence and event promotion.You’ll need to be a self-starter who is comfortable creating high-end visual content on the fly. Meta Ads Strategist
We are on the hunt for a Paid Meta Ad Wiz!
The role
You’ll plan, build, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Performance Max and YouTube if relevant). You’ll be responsible for driving measurable growth while protecting brand tone and working closely with our marketing lead and creative team.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage always-on and campaign-based activity across Meta and Google Ads
- Create and optimise campaign structures, audiences, keywords, and bidding strategies
- Set up and maintain tracking: Meta Pixel + CAPI, GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion events
- Develop testing plans (creative, copy, audiences, landing pages) and run structured A/B tests
- Manage budgets and pacing, with clear recommendations on where to invest for best ROI
- Produce monthly reporting with insights, learnings and next actions (not just numbers)
- Collaborate on creative direction: ad angles, hooks, offers, and landing page feedback
- Ensure best-practice account hygiene (naming conventions, exclusions, negatives, placements, etc.)
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads with performance outcomes
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution (GA4/GTM experience essential)
- Comfortable working with both eCommerce and local/venue-based objectives (events, bookings, foot traffic)
- Ability to write and iterate ad copy that fits a premium-but-approachable hospitality brand
- Analytical mindset: can spot what’s working, what isn’t, and what to test next
- Clear communicator who can explain decisions and results simply
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify, feed-based ads, and Performance Max
- Hospitality, FMCG, or craft beverage experience
- Basic creative skills (briefing, UGC direction, light editing)
- SEO/landing page CRO understanding
This role is approx 8-12 hours per week and would suit a person looking for casual or part time work, or would suit a freelancer.
